Individual Therapy

Session (50 minutes)

Individual therapy is a private space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace without judgment. Together, we’ll work toward easing the weight you carry, find clarity, and reconnect with yourself.

Our therapists provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, honoring your unique story, background, and strengths. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, sadness, life transitions, postpartum or self-doubt, we’re here to support you in finding peace and growth in your own way.

This is your space-always safe, compassionate, and supportive.

Our Specialties

  • Anxiety can show up in many ways-ongoing worries, racing thoughts, difficulty relaxing, or feeling constantly "on edge". You might notice physical tension, restlessness, or a mind that doesn't seem to slow down no matter how hard you try.

It might arise during times of uncertainty or change such as-navigating your first career job, starting higher education, facing family pressures, or adjusting to a new life chapter. You might notice yourself constantly overthinking, striving to meet everyone's expectations, or always stress.

Together, we'll focus on calming the busy mind and soothing the body so you can feel more grounded, present, and at peace in your daily life.

  • Depression can feel like a heavy fog- moments where motivation fades, energy feels low, and even small tasks seem overwhelming. You might notice changes in sleep or appetite, difficulty concentrating, or a lingering sadness that’s hard to explain.

Sometimes these feelings appear after a loss, a major life transition, caregiving for others, or when you feel disconnected from your purpose. It can also show up when you’ve spent years being strong for others, only to realize you’ve neglected your own needs.

Together, we’ll work on gently rebuilding hope, reconnecting you with your sense of self, and finding ways to bring lightness and meaning back into your days.

  • The postpartum period can bring a mix of emotions-joy, love, exhaustion, and sometimes deep sadness or worry. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of yourself as you adjust to the changes that come with motherhood.

Perhaps you find yourself wondering if you’re doing enough, feeling pressure to “bounce back,” or struggling with guilt for needing rest and support. You are not alone, these experiences are more common than most realize.

Together, we’ll create space to process your emotions, strengthen your confidence, and help you feel more supported and connected as you navigate this new season of life.

  • Self-doubt can quietly shape how we see ourselves-making it hard to trust our worth, decisions, or abilities. It can show up as perfectionism, fear of failure, or feeling like you’re never “enough.”

You might notice this surfacing in your relationships, career, or when comparing yourself to others. It’s especially common for those who have carried high expectations or learned to prioritize others over their own needs.

In therapy, we’ll work on understanding the roots of your self-doubt, nurturing self-compassion, and helping you reconnect with your inner confidence and sense of worth.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is a safe and supportive space to talk about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Sessions are 50 minutes long, and you set the pace. You don’t need to know exactly what to say-we’ll figure it out together.

  • If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, stuck, sad, anxious, or unsure of yourself, therapy can help. Many people come to therapy even if they’re “functioning” day to day-it doesn’t have to be a crisis to seek support.

  • Your first session is about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you here and your hopes for therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—you only share what feels comfortable.

  • Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and connection. Over time, sessions may shift to every other week depending on your needs and goals.

  • It depends. Some people come for a few months to work on specific goals, while others continue longer for deeper support. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy feels helpful.

  • Yes. What you share in therapy stays private. Therapy is meant to be a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly.

The only exceptions are if there is a concern for your safety or the safety of others, or if the law requires me to report certain information (for example, suspected child or elder abuse). If we ever need to talk about these limits, I’ll explain them clearly so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Yes, I accept Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and Optum. If I am not in-network with your plan, I can provide a superbill so you can check if your insurance reimburses for out-of-network therapy.

  • Individual session (50 minutes): $120-$180

I offer a limited number of reduced-rate spots for those who need them. Please reach out if cost feels like a barrier.

  • Yes—sessions are available in English and Spanish.

  • That’s completely normal-many of our clients are new to therapy. You don’t have to prepare anything. Just come as you are, and we’ll take it one step at a time.

  • The therapeutic relationship matters. If it doesn’t feel like a good fit, it’s okay to say so. We can help you find another therapist who might be a better match.

  • Many people in the Hispanic community hear messages like this growing up. It’s common to worry that seeking help means something is “wrong” with you. The truth is: therapy isn’t about being “crazy”, it’s about taking care of your mental and emotional well-being.

Therapy is for anyone who wants support, guidance, or a safe space to process life’s challenges—big or small. Everyone carries stress, sadness, or anxiety at times, and asking for help is a strong, brave step, not a weakness.
