Job Description

  • Provide individual psychotherapy sessions via telehealth to an average of 20-27 per week.

  • Deliver culturally sensitive care to support growth and well-being.

  • Available to provide evening and/or weekend appointments to meet client needs.

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and interventions.

  • Interpret patient needs, strengths, and preferences to inform care.

  • Develop and implement evidence-informed treatment plans.

  • Participate in team meetings, monthly check-ins, community events and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and Active, unrestricted license in the State of CA.

  • Commitment to serving minority and BIPOC communities.

  • Compassionate, Professional, Culturally Sensitive and Collaborative.

  • Clinical experience with diverse populations and complex mental health conditions (ex. depression, anxiety, and perinatal disorders).

  • Experience serving adult patients.

  • Skilled in performing thorough clinical assessments and mental status evaluations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

  • Proficient in developing evidenced-based treatment planning and maintaining thorough, cultural and strengths-focus documentation.

  • Knowledge of Child Abuse, Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse, Neglect and Domestic Violence treatment, interventions, and reporting protocols.
